WTF is Athflow clothing? Pinterest predicted in their 2021 trend article that Athflow would be the hot style of the year and I literally LOL because I realized I’ve been living the Athflow lifestyle for years.

See, as a full-time blogger, I’ve been working from my apartment for years, so when the pandemic hit, my life and style didn’t change too much. While my friends were struggling with what the heck the wear on zoom calls that’s also comfy enough for the couch all day, I already had a closet full of comfy house dresses and soft pants.

I already have pieces that are easy to wear all day, but can take me from couch to zoom call to grocery runs and even a quick yoga session or walk in the park, all without changing. 

That’s what the definition of Athflow is: “flowy pants, casual jumpsuits and oversized outfits”. It also looks like pretty lace bralettes paired with cotton shorts and a soft blazer, kaftans, house dresses, matching monochrome loungewear sets that can be dressed up or down, or chunky sweaters with wide-leg pants and elevated slippers such as Birdies. 

Athflow is the perfect harmony of workwear and loungewear, find the balance of comfort without losing style and modern professionalism. 

While Pinterest is heavily focused on the textiles and fabrics of Athflow, I also think a strong element of this trend is going to be rooted in accessories. An all-black oversized jumpsuit maybe doesn’t look as good on a Zoom call as it would if you dressed it up with a cute headband that doesn’t pinch, or a large gold chain or statement earrings, or even stylish cozy blanket scarf.
