While browsing ASOS (my go-to clothing store for unique clothing that’s size inclusive!) I saw this stunning baby blue fan dress and HAD to wear it! I mean, how avant-garde meets street style is this dress? Runway style is famous for being so unapproachable, which is why I love this interpretation.
My major concern was this fan-style would be utterly uncomfortable but the fabric is a scuba material, making it feel almost as comfy as pjs. Seriously. This material is stretchy so it fits your curves in allllll the best ways. And, the fan isn’t stiff, so it’s easy to wear.
Paired with colorful heels, a funky purse and a camel coat (which acts as the neutral space in the outfit) this dress is easy to wear to all sorts of things. Brunch with the girls, date night, high tea – heck, anywhere. Life is too short to not wear fun outfits whenever the hell ya want.
What I love most about this dress is the fan, because it draws the eye right to it. If you are not the most comfortable flaunting your curves, a dress like this is the perfect way to ease into tighter dresses. Everyone will be looking at the fan, not your tummy!
