Ever since getting my pink monochrome pantsuit (I call it my Hilary suit) I’ve been interested in monochrome style I think all the classic all one color works really well on pantsuits. But the rest of clothes? Not so much. That’s why I’m digging this fresh take on monochrome outfits, a find from Target.
These green pants are FIRE (and by fire I mean cool. That’s what the kids are saying, I think.) The top almost has a Hawaiian feel, but the stripes and subtle ruffles make it modern and chic. Paired with green pants, well you have a playful monochrome outfit my friend!
I wore this outfit while exploring Melrose’s Place for the first time. My friend Lauren took me to Alfred’s (the tea AND coffee) and I loved seeing this Instagram famous coffee shop in real life. We then passed by these delightful palms and I felt so in place. The day was cloudy, but I was itching for a sunny one. I guess I’ll just have to come back down to LA soon! And maybe bring a yellow monochrome outfit next time?
