Dr. G Peeling Gel – Is It Worth It?

The Dr. G Peeling Gel – is it worth it? In my kick of reviewing internet famous beauty products, I came across Dr. G Peeling Gel via a recommendation of a friend. She told me she uses it once a week and it “makes her glow”. Well, I don’t know about you ladies, but I want to glow. That’s the goal of all skin care – bright, clear, happy, glowing skin!

So, I bought the peel on Amazon for about $15 and tried it out the second it arrived.

Start by washing your face and keeping a bit of water on your skin. Squeeze a nickel-sized amount on your fingers and roll it onto your face. You may need a bit more peel gel. If so, apply more. Then, roll the gel all around your face. Yes, rolling a gel sounds kinda strange, I know, but the gel works its magic by picking up dead skin and thus forming a more concrete substance. Hence, you can quickly start to roll the gel.

I like to spend a couple minutes rolling the gel around my face until it’s hard to do so anymore. Then, I rinse my face off and moisturize with my favorite oil. Afterward, my skin ALWAYS feels clean and fresh. I swear I can tell it looks brighter after a use, as well, though I think the real change doesn’t happen until after a few weeks of steady use.

Dr. G Peeling Gel is known for being really nice to sensitive skin (yay!) The black willow helps clear your skin and the honey, trehalose and hollyhock help skin stay moisturized. Basically, those harsh chemical peels you can get at the spa maybe aren’t the best option. Instead, try this at-home peel for a fraction of the cost. I think you’d be surprised at the results. A friend even recommended using it right after the Aztec Clay Mask, so you can combine these two into your skin care routine easily.
