Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek Arizona, just outside Mesa, is not your average farm. This 300+ acre is more like an oasis for anyone needing to reconnect with the natural world, or their inner child.
The property has u-pick vegetable gardens, farm animals, orchards, along with historic buildings and vintage carnival rides. Including a carousel that used to be located in Coney Island. (For real!) And, tucked in one corner of the farm are the Cozy Peach glamping trailers so you can wake up right in the middle of it all.
Inside The Charming Cozy Peach Glamping Trailers at Schnepf Farms Arizona
We’re a little addicted to glamping over here at Whimsy Soul so when we traveled the Greater Phoenix area with Visit Mesa, we jumped at the chance to try out these unique retro glamping trailers. They’re located on Schnepf Farms in Queens Creek, which is about a 25-minute drive outside Mesa so you’re not too far away from all the action (but you may just find yourself hanging out on the farm all day.)
Guests Have Access To Bikes To Explore The Property
I say that because one of my favorite perks of staying at the Cozy Peach is the bikes that are available for guests to use. Each morning during our stay, Robin and I would hop on a bike and meander around the peach farm.
This is a third-generation farm and over the years the family has slowly collected enough vintage gems that there’s almost a “main street” of sorts on the property full of rides, buildings, little stands, and even a vintage gas pump. There’s also animals, a drive-in movie theater, orchards, a mini-golf course, and a bakery.
It’s a LOT to explore on foot, so the bikes are super handy.
All The Cozy Peach Trailers Are Different
There’s about 8 trailers available right now, with more coming soon, and each trailer is unique to its neighbor. You may stay in a silver Airstream that was recently gutted and remodeled, or a vintage pull trailer that has almost all of its original interior. Some with good views of the farm, too!
We stayed in the 1955 Terry Pullman Train and loved this little cutie. It had all the basic kitchen items, like plates and forks, along with other handy things like a floor fan which Robin adored for sleeping at night. Our front door opened right to a private little lawn area with tables and a fire pit for hanging around at night with local beers.

Schnepf Farms Bakery: A Must-Have Breakfast
The food at Schnepf Farms is *chef kiss* We had breakfast delivered right to our cozy trailer one morning. I had the complete and toast, Robin had the pancakes and bacon, both of which were made with fresh ingredients and hit the spot.
But, my favorite morning was when we biked to the Schnepf Farms Bakery for coffee and their cinnamon rolls fresh from the oven. Goey, sweet and hands-down the best cinnamon roll I’ve had in years. I wish we lived closer instead of all the way over here in San Francisco because I would totally visit this bakery at least once a week to get my cinnamon roll fix.
Schnepf Farms Events
You may want to time your glamping visit to one of the farm’s seasonal events! These are the top popular events at the farm:
- Schnepf Farms Christmas: Everything is decked out in lights and holiday magic!
- Schnepf Farms Halloween: Bring the family to stock up on your pumpkins for the fall season!
- Agritainment Park: A few weeks in the spring where they open up their 40+ carnival rides for the whole family to enjoy.
- Schnepf Farms U-Pick: Anyone can come and pick veggies, and pay by the pound. This is available usually late spring-summer when veggies are in season.
Oh, getting married? Schnepf Farms has been featured in tons of wedding outlets and is a super special place to tie the knot. There’s a farmhouse, a beautiful red brand and a whimsical meadow nestled in trees, the latter which I totally would have picked for a ceremony spot if Robin and I weren’t already married.
Staying at this farm in Queen Creek is such a fun experience. If you’re looking for a unique way to travel to Arizona, this is the spot.
